Good lighting lets you keep enjoying your garden after dark, whether you’re sitting outside or looking out at it from inside. With our Two-Night Landscape Lighting Preview, you can see warm, carefully aimed lighting on your own property before deciding on a permanent system.
When the sun goes down, a garden can become a wall of black outside your windows. The plants, stonework and water feature you enjoy during the day disappear. Steps and changes in grade become harder to see.
Floodlights solve darkness by lighting everything, but they can feel harsh, create glare and flatten the garden. Thoughtfully placed landscape lighting does the opposite. It draws your eye to the features that matter, creates depth and leaves darkness between illuminated areas, so your yard still feels like a garden.
The trees, planting, stonework and water feature you enjoy during the day remain part of your home after sunset, even when you are looking out from inside.
Lighting lets you keep using your patio and garden after the sun goes down, even as the evenings get shorter.
Carefully placed light makes steps, entrances, edges and changes in grade easier to read without lining every route with fixtures.
Light reveals falling water, reflections and wet stone, giving your pond, waterfall or fountain a completely different presence at night.
Lighting selected trees and garden features creates depth and atmosphere while leaving darkness between the areas that matter.
Every design is planned around your views, gathering areas and evening routines, with light only where it is useful.
Send a few daytime photos and tell me where the darkness is inconvenient, what you wish you could see, and how you use the yard in the evening. I will follow up with to make sure the preview is a good fit.
I’ll walk the property with you, then install a temporary lighting design that addresses a practical concern and highlights a decorative area. We’ll adjust the brightness and aiming after dark, then leave the lights in place for two nights.
After two nights, I remove the temporary equipment and return your refundable equipment deposit. If you want permanent lighting, I will prepare a design and proposal based on what you experienced. There is no obligation to move forward.
The Two-Night Landscape Lighting Preview is for homeowners considering a professionally designed permanent system, typically starting around $6,000. The preview lets you experience the difference on your own property before deciding what comes next.
The preview itself is complimentary. A refundable equipment deposit, based on the replacement value of the temporary lighting installed at your property, is returned after the equipment is removed and accounted for.
To get started, send a few daytime photos and tell me what you wish you could see after sunset. I will follow up to make sure the preview is a good fit.
